In fact, vinyl is the last thing this 3-year old Manhattan based DJ company is crazy about.
What The Compact Disc Jockeys are about is the CD. When performing over 100 events this past year, these jocks didn’t spin one record.

Says company head John Hubela, “from a mobile DJ standpoint it’s easier to carry, neater and physically more appealing. A lot of parties I do are in Manhattan venues where space is a premium.”

“I’d say 90 percent of my gigs are corporate and wedding.”
With three systems and bookings on the rise Hubela says his specialized approach is paying off. “Manhattan is my niche.”
